Maxwell Studio holds the honor of being one of the oldest businesses in Fresno. Generation after generation has come to our studio to have their portraits taken. The studio is currently under the ownership of James F. Maxwell, grandson of founder John Franklin Maxwell. We currently reside at 415 Blackstone, the same location the Maxwell family called home in 1890. Although we photograph all types of people and events, we act primarily as a high school/senior photography studio. We are official photographer to eleven schools in the valley including Bullard, Caruthers, Edison, Fowler, Kerman, Liberty, McLane, Sanger, Sierra, Sunnyside and Washington Union High Schools. After all these years we are still a studio that is growing and moving to new and different challenges. Our future growth depends on the continued pursuit of excellence by all.
